Being part of Portsmouth Tech and Cultural Hub twice as Head of Media gave me incredible hands-on experience leading production and streaming teams, while connecting me with inspiring role models like Toyyib Adewale Adelodun. The insights and advice I gained from panelists especially at this year’s event exploring how AI can be used safely and within communities and modern businesses expanded my knowledge and inspired me to pursue Computer Science at university.
The experience of being one of the panellists at Portsmouth Tech and Cultural Hub International Women’s Day Panel allowed me to connect with powerful and interesting women in my field, opening important networking channels for my future career. It also allowed me to work on my public speaking and hopefully inspire young people looking at going into the field of cyber.
